Stage To Screen Studios opened on September 10, 2018, originally intended to be a dual-purpose performing arts training studio and professional artists Cabaret Theatre founded/lead by Executive Director – Christopher Tompkins.

When Stage offered it’s first professional show, Indiana’s Got Talent – word spread quickly with residents throughout the greater Greenwood and Johnson County and the professional show offering, quite literally, took off! Attendance for Stage’s 2nd show, Best of Broadway grew exponentially followed by Holidazzle which achieved more than 400 theatre patrons in just six shows!

After receiving a significant amount of feedback from many patrons expressing their desire for a dinner & show offering, the leadership team began to explore this as an option for 2019.

Following discussions with several notable greater Indianapolis catering companies, Stage To Screen made the decision to partner with one of Indiana’s top-rated catering companies, Grafton Peek Catering & Bakery, located in the heart of old downtown Greenwood!

Our collective goal: to offer professionally produced, directed and performed live shows paired with meticulously crafted, scrumptious food & beverage.

The theatre is located in the Walkers Plaza in old downtown Greenwood at 350 South Madison Avenue¬† and serves as a vital new component of downtown Greenwood’s renaissance. It’s a perfect location for residents of greater Greenwood, Whiteland, Franklin, Johnson County, Southport and Indianapolis south-side communities and near landmarks including¬†Jackomo Pizza, Greenwood Library, Dollar General Store and is just west across the park from the famous Mrs. Curl Ice Creme Shoppe in old town Greenwood.
